"At the last session Assembly a Committee was appointed to reexaminethe general estimate. [O]f this committee you are a member. I ma requested to inform you that the committee propose to meet at Tivertown on the 2th instant."
Because he cannot be present, "[i]t particularly concerns the interest of the county that it should have a representation. I must therefore request that you would not fail of attendance."
Benjamin Bourne was an honorary member of the Rhode Island Society of the Cincinnati.
