Entry for Jan. 17 1777: Cash pd. Ananias Cooper for 16 days board, washing & lodging of William Vernon junr.
Items include cash paid for hose, wharfage, rigging, for commissions on sale of schoone Hampden, etc.
June 12: To three Continental loan office certificates no. 963 & 964, each 600 dollars; no. 318, 1000 dollars total 2200 dollars in Penna curcy.
