Item (1): To Eben Wheelwright, April 19 1823, 42 shillings for a rope for the North School and 2 pounds 80 shillings for blocks for [courthouse?] and Market House.
Item (2) To Nathaniel Bayley for ringing the bell for an annual meeting and adjournment, for gove[r]nor day, for representatives, for the school house, and [on] July 4 for independance [sic] for a total of $3.33
At bottom of item (1):Rec'd pay [signed] Eben Wheelwright
Signature at bottom of item (2): Received payment by orders on Treasurer / Nathl Bayley
On verso of item (2): Town Bill
