[3]): originally published as a broadside in Philadelphia; printed here to accompany the Massachusetts general orders implementing its call for detachment from the militia of each of the United States.
Ms. at bottom of p. [3]: "An act authorising a detachment of the militia."
In ink on p. [4]: ms. report on rasing a detachment for the Massachusetts town of Sterling, in Worcester County, signed by Col. Jacob Haskell.
