Presents Mr. Paris, on the centenary of the death of Lafayette, a copy of the Medal ordered to be struck by the Paris mint. It bears the profile drawn by the engraver Gatteaux, and is in the Museum collection at Anderson House.
Lafayette was an original member of the French Society of the Cincinnati.
