Thomas Simpson for the repair, outfitting & supply of the Continental Navy sloop-of-war Ranger, Portsmouth, N.H., 1778-1779 (the Ranger returned to Portsmouth in 1778 for repairs, following the cruise to the coast of Great Britain under the command of Capt. John Paul Jones).
