Responds to Van Horne's earlier inquiry about the character of a servant named Sarah. Morris has received a favorable report from a Mrs. Bayard and further offers to employ Sarah temporarily to assess her abilities and character.
Morris was an honorary member of the Pennsylvania Society of the Cincinnati.
In ink on p. [4]: Col. Philip Van Horn [sic] with remains of red seal.
