Edward Harvey, Adjutant-General of the British Army writes to Sloper [probably Sir Robert Sloper?] with news and intelligence of the war effort: "Another attack at Quebec, repulsed with great loss. Howe at Halifax and all well. A report that Lee is taken by Clinton, in my opinion, not very probable."
