Signed: drawn by Heny. De Bernier, 10 Regt. Infy.; GF in lower margin at left (probably Gideon Fairman).
Includes "References" to points of military interest and ill.
Editor of the journal "Port folio" procured an engraving of this map by De Berrier, and showed it to General Henry Dearborn who had served as a captain at the battle. Dearborn "indicated what he regarded as a few errors, which he corrected in red&."--Cf. The battle-field of Bunker Hill (Boston, 1876) by R. Frothingham.
