Ms. inscriptions on front free endpaper: "Lieut. T. Wells. Royal Navy"; "From his grandson to his great grandson, Cadet L.F. Howard Mercer R.N., June 25, 1921" in green ink.
Blind ownership stamp on front free endpaper: J T. John Tuteur, Sr.
