Hopes Muhlenberg has received a copy of the draft Institution and approves.
He encloses a copy of the minutes of the subsequent organizing "convention ... by which you will see that the members of the Society ... have made choice of officers to fill the different departments, until the general meeting in May next."
Steuben, Muhlenberg, and Shaw were original members of the Society of the Cincinnati
Includes the [4]-pages of minutes, in an unidentified hand but signed by Steuben, and a wrapper endorsed "Society of the Cincinnati / Drawing of the Order / by Major L'Enfant" (drawing not present).
