Revised draft concerning arrangements for moving exchanged Convention Army officers and their baggage from Connecticut to New York, September 14, 1781.
Draft heavily revised; numerous deleting & replacing instructions with revised interlinear text.
"On application of Brigadier General Hamilton representing that the officers &c of the Convention troops ... stationed in East Windsor & other parts of the State are exchanged, thereupon requesting directions respecting transportation of Baggage to New York & permission previously to apply there for money to clear their quarters & defray the expense of the journey ..."
On verso: "In Council of Safety Harford 15 Sept 1781. Resolved that the Committee of Pay Table ..."
