Note
List of names of members of a detachment under the command of Lt. Col. Butler including Captain William Judd and denoting those sick, deserted, etc. (MSS L2010G28.28) Some names bear a read check mark next to the member. A note from Judd on the reverse reads "The persons here named are detached from various companys belonging to said regiment but few of their officers are present & it is impossible to assertain the times of their inlistments or whether they were inslited fairly or otherwise before their particular officers arrive in camp. Wm Judd Capt"
Framed with (MSS L2010G28.29) a certificate addressed to Capt Judd from Captain Ozias Pettibone stating that Ebenezer Holcomb "inlisted into the Continental Servis [sic] but not in any perticular [sic] company on the 5th of March last" dated 1778.
Two manuscripts framed together in a brown faux wood frame with double-sided glass.
Gift of Diana Judd Stevens, Martha Judd Estroff, William Hart Judd III, Margaret Ann Judd, and Rebecca Judd, in memory of their grandfather, William Hart Judd, and father William Hart Judd, Jr.
