Note
Charge by Erastus Gay, grandjuror, "that Henry Brace Junr Timothy Cadwell + Allen Steel did severaly on the 22nd day of February Instant being the sabath [sic] or Lords day unessarely [sic] & not the purposes of charity or to attend the publick worship of God with their respective waggons and horses did travil [sic] from the Town of Cheshire in the County of New Haven to end through the said of Farmington against the Peace"
Manuscript note on reverse attested by William Judd, Justis Pais that "these personaly appeared... & severaly confest [sic] themselves guilty as charged... it is thereupon considered that they severaly pay as a fine two Dollars to the Treasurer of the town of Farmington + cost of prosecution taxed at 67 cents cost to each."
Note that "fine and cost paid" at bottom.
