Erroneously attributed to David Rittenhouse by Evans. The actual author was Daniel George. The calculations in the eclipse predictions and on the calendar pages are identical with those in his An almanack for 1784 (Boston), except for a few differences of one minute in the times for the moon's rising and setting. Most of the calendar page notes, especially the astronomical notes, are also identical, except that the aspects are omitted in Weatherwise.

Another issue also published in 1783 with the Boston imprint of Nathaniel Coverly; identical in content and typography.

Contains woodcut on front cover of "Washington--victory doth thy trumpets sound, who are with laurals cover'd round!" (presenting "the Victorious General Washington, surveyd in pleasing attitudes by Wisdom and Valour, while Britannia deplores her loss of America"; also includes Fame with her trumpet flying overhead.
