Signed by Lt. Col. Joseph Huse, Officer of the day with a note "Visited the guards this day & found them alert on their posts and in good order."
A roll of 12 prisoners held at West Point and Fort Putnam; lists by rank the number of officers and guards on duty, and by name the American prisoners held, with information about their regiment, "by whom confined," date of confinement and "crimes against them." Several are in for desertion, one is "Supposed to be a spy," and three at Fort Putnam are "Under Sentence of Death" for spying. Two of the prisoners on the list had been sent there by order of General Arnold.
