No. 11, May 2, 1837, addressed to "My dear Susan" from Richmond is signed J. A. Peyton; it is forwarded to M. Frances Lane with an attached note from Susan, S.E.M. Green
No. 12 is from S.E.M. Green to "My dear Sister", Mrs. Elizabeth Lane, Rose Hill.
Chiefly family matters, though .5 refers to the 1836 election of Martin Van Buren and the "Whig victory in Fauquier."
