A French version of "Plan of the Attack on the Provincial Army, on Long Island, August 27th 1776 ... / by an officer of the army," published in London by J. Bowles, G. Kearsley, Octr. 24th 1776.
Relief shown by hachures.
Depicts the British frontal attack on the American army entrenched on Brooklyn Heights.
Probably early state: table of references identifies only 9 items, instead of the 12 cited by Nebenzahl; ms. additions, including "5. Grand defiles" on table of references & troop positions added Mahattan Island, Westchester County, along the New Jersey shoreline.
