Full bust, head to the right, torso to the front, in uniform.
This is a two-tone photomechanical reproductrion of a painted portrait by U. D. Tenney after an original by Trumbull that appears after page 18 in the Daughters of the Cincinnati Yearbook, 1910-1911. The original portrait currently hangs in the New Hampshire State House, having been given to the state by Cilley's son in 1872,
Joseph Cilley was an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati from the state of New Hampshire.
