Lists some 46 men without indication of rank.
Some include notations such as "sick in quarters", "on furlough", "deserted"; one indicates "bounty to be paid to his father." Others indicate home towns.
On January 1, 1777, Mansfield was appointed captain in the New York Regiment of Continental Artillery,and raised his company of men in Connecticut. -- see F. Sypher. New York State Society of the Cincinnati (2004).
Both Capt. Mansfield and Col. Lamb were original members of the Society of the Cincinnati.
One Oliver Brown served as Captain-Lieutenant in the 3rd Regiment, Continental Artillery; one Samuel Lockwood werve as Captain, 2nd Regiment, Continental Artillery; one Jacob Walker, d. Feb. 5, 1778, was a Captain in the 1st Regiment, Continental Army. It is possibly these three officers who are mentioned above.
