Recipient is unidentified, but Cochran addresses General Greene in the third person twice in the text, indicating that probably sent to Greene via one of his aides.
Concerns Surgeon General Cochran’s frustrations that a promised kitchen had not been constructed for himself and his family while they were stationed at winter quarters in Morristown, N.J.
Accompanied facsimile of Cochran's portrait moved to case file.
