Jeduthan Abby became Quartermaster in April, 1780 -- See Record of Connecticut men of the military and naval service during the War of the Revolution, 1775-1783, p. 147.
William Richards transferred to the 5th Connecticut Regiment on 1 Jan. 1781. Date of document was between April and Dec. 1780.
Three colums of names arranged by company; officers and their rations are listed at the end of the 3rd column.: Wm. Richards, Enoch Reed, Ezra Sellers, Chris.t Darrow, Simeon [i.e., Simon?] Avery, Thos Anderson, Lieut. Richard Douglas, Lieut John Giff[illegible], Lieut. Ezra Lee, Doct. John Noyes. Signed at bottom of column: Wm Richards Capt Comd.t
Several of the officers were original members or were eligible to become members of the Connecticut Society of the Cincinnati.
On p. [2] are receipts for rations of rum, sugar, and coffee signed by J. Abby Q.M. Serjt. and Thos. Anderson Q.M.
