Adjutant - Benjamin Stelle was named adjutant in the Rhode Island in 1776, and served as deputy paymaster in 1778.
Bruin, who is sometimes listed at Peter Bryant Bruin, served in the 7th Virginia regiment -- see Metcalf and Heitman.
