On verso: Proof of effectives ... sworn before me this 5 day of May 1780 [signed] Robt. Peebles Lieut. [and] W. Stewart Colo.
The 7th Pennsylvania wintered at Morristown 1779-1780, and in April Walter Stewart met with others at New Tavern in Philadelphia -- see J. D. Kilbourne. Virtutis Praemium: The men who founded the State Society of the Cincinnati of Pennsylvania (1998), vol. 2, p. 916.
Morgan Connor, according to Heitman, was lost at sea in January, 1780.
In addition to Morgan Connor, commissioned officers listed are Capt. John Alexander and Lieut. Robert Peebles. Also named are 3 sergeants, 18 privates, 2 corporals, and 2 drummers & fifers
Alexander, Harmar, Peebles, and Stewart were all original members of the State Society of the Cincinnati of Pennsylvania
