I am sorry to inform your Lordship that the bayonets cannot be procured as soon as was expected, 'tho in three weeks from Monday next, if I be not disappointed by the undertakers, I shall have finished & send to camp all the espontoons, & turn screws; 300 bayonets, with belts & scabbards, compleat ..."
