Lawrence sent the antiquarian, Benson Lossing, 2 sketches (not present) for possible use in Lossing’s Pictorial fieldbook of the revolution; one was the Talcott House in Glastonbury, Connecticut with his detailed account of the house (considered the third oldest in America & once owned by a revolutionary soldier, Col. Talcott); the other one was the Charter Oak in Hartford.
