Note
Etching of two scenes; the first, "France," shows a Frenchman and a Spaniard conversing on the shore, with ships and soldiers in the distance. The Frenchman says "A few years Cousen will recruit our Strength in men and money and have at ‘em again." Under "England," a peg-legged English soldier begs for charity from a Lord’s valet, while a sailor holds up at gunpoint another man who says, "This is always the Consequence of peace in England; we neglect those in Peace that were our Bulwarks in War."
