Telegram from Baron Moncher [sic] to Isabel Anderson thanking her for "magnificent hospitalty [sic] so cordially extended" and saying "I hope I will see you soon."
Baron Ludovic Moncheur was the head of the Belgian War Mission that was sent to the United States in 1917 to raise support and secure aid for the country. The Belgian delegation stayed at Anderson House during the three week Washington portion of their tour of the United States. The Andersons were out of town for the beginning of the visit and stayed in a hotel on their return to Washington although Isabel acted as hostess for Baron Moncheur on occasion.
