Invitation reads, "The President and Mrs. Roosevelt request the pleasure of the company of Mr. and Mrs. Anderson at dinner on Monday evening February 12th at 8 o'clock. 1906."
With invitation is typescript caption pasted on black construction paper reading "Dinner in honor of the marriage of Nicholas Longworth and Alice Roosevelt at which L A was an usher."
Nicholas Longworth was Larz Anderson's second cousin and Larz served as an ambassador under President Theordore Roosevelt, Alice's father.
