Copy 4: belonged to John Fitch, who joined the New Jersey Society in 1876, the first descendant to represent the line of Capt. Andrew Fitch of the Fourth Connecticut Continental Line (the Connecticut Society was at the time disbanded). He added his name in manuscript to the published roster of members, along with the names of five others admitted that same year. Over the years he used this book as a scrapbook, pasting in more than two dozen Society-related invitations, menus, announcements, membership lists and other publications; c. 5: custom binding with marbled boards and nameplate: "Walton White Evans"; tipped in on front free endpaper: "(Centennial) New York State Society of the Cincinnati, July 4, 1883" (list of officers and standing committee, including Anthony Walton White Evans); annotations and ribbon inserted to mark Anthony Walton White and Anthony Walton White Evans.
