He mentions having seen former President John Adams saying, "I went to see the old President Adams and Colonel Pickering. Both are in full possession of their intellect but with very different degrees of bodily strength. Mr. A cannot walk, while Mr. P walks to his farm at the distance of seven miles."
Includes original address, postmark, and remnants of wax seal.
