Concerns Loan Office Certificates: "...we expect shortly to be able to pay off the whole interest to the full satisfaction of the owners -- this will be handed to you by Doct. Nathl. Appleton Haven if the fortune of war should convey him to the Island of Bermuda and civilities that you may shew him to lighten the distress of captivity will be gratefully acknowledged by him and myself."
