Discusses recent horse races, Revolutionary land warrants, and possibly the earliest meetings of the Virginia Society of the Cincinnati: "Among other things we had a general meeting of the Cloath, such as it now is. Necessity has no law, the Back is nothing, the Heart is all, and I can venture to say a truer hand never pistle cocked."
Three possible addressees, each of whom shared Weedon's interest in land warrants are: Col. Richard C. Anderson, Col. Theodorick Bland, and Col. John F. Mercer.
