Larz Anderson served as an Envoy in Brussels from 1911 to 1912.
Both Larz Anderson and his wife, Isabel, received honors from Belgium. Isabel Anderson was awarded the Medal of Elisabeth of Belgium with Red Cross. Larz Anderson received the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Crown of Belgium, wtih 2nd Class.
