"Be it remembered that... before the Honourable Francis Hopkinson Esquire Judge of the Court of Admiralty of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania came John Wilcocks, Nicholas Low, Samuel Murdock [and 17 others] of the City of Philadelphia merchants and acknowledged themselves... to be indebted to Silas Talbot late commander of the sloop Argo..." for 25 [pounds], 582.10.0.
