This facsimilie is a copy of what is believed to be an original copy of the Paul Revere colored etching. It shows seven British soldiers firing their rifles into a patriot mob. Below is a poem about the event. Below the poem, it reads: "The unhappy sufferers were Mess=s Sam=l Gray, Sam=l Maverick, Jam=s Caldwell, Crispus Attucks & Pat=k Care, killed. Six wounded: two of them (Christ=r Monk & John Clark) mortally."
