Note
Regarding preparations for the siege of Yorktown. Advising of "most expeditious route" to Gloucester camp from Williamsburg where arms will be available. Burwell is to form one regiment from the men under him keeping two majors to assist, but the rest of his field officers will not have commands.
Nelson presses Burwell to reinforce General Weedon as soon as possible fearing the enemy may attack while that force is weak.
