Flora Macdonald gained fame for aiding the young Pretender, Prince Charles Edward ("Bonnie Prince Charlie") escape from Royal troops during the Rebellion of 1745. She was imprisoned for her actions, and later immigrated to North Carolina where she encouraged the Loyalist cause. This broadside publishes evidence of funds raised for her support by subscription in 1751
