Three-quarter length, seated to the right, head to the left. His right hand is outstretched on the arm of the chair, palm up, as if speaking. In his left hand, which also rests on the arm of the chair, he holds a scrolled paper with the lettering "Administrate des Armies." He is dressed as an appointed Senator of France, in the robes of a Peer, as created by Louis XVIII, June 4, 1814. He wears sashes and medals of chevalier de St. Louis, grand croix of the Legion d'honneur, the grand croix of the Couronne de Baviere, and commandeur de Ordre de Saint Henri de Saxe, and chevalier de le Couronne de fer d'Italie. Rectangle with single line borders 1/16, 5/16 and 1/16. Below the border in the center it reads: "Imp. Lith de Lemercier."
The portrait is matted in white and framed in a 1 1/2" gold frame.
This lithograph was created from a painting by Baron Antoine-Jean Gros, which is now is in the possession of the Louvre.

Commissaire Jacques-Pierre Orillare, Count de Villemanzy, was made an honorary member (later made an eligible member) of the Society of the Cincinnati from France in 1792 upon the recommendation of Louis XVI. He served in Rhode Island with the Auxillary Army on the Administrative staff and was present at Yorktown before returning to France.
