Issue announcing the surrender of the French city and fortress at Louisbourg (Nova Scotia) to the British: "This morning Capt. Edgecumbe, and Capt. Amherst, arrived express from Admiral Boscawen, and Major General Amherst, with an account, that on the 26th of July, M. le Chevalier Drucour, Governor of Louisbourg, surrendered that place by capitulation ..."
