Sartirically representing the war of the Austrian Succession and the choice of Elector Karl Albrecht of Bavaria to the position of German emperor; this etching depicting the princes of Europe playing cards at a round table with prize, the imperial crown, laying the center; in front of the card table, depicted in allegorical form, the European powers are fighting in animal shape (France as a cock, England as a bulldog and Austria as an eagle). A city under siege is shown in the background.
