Note
Blueprint for "The Cincinnati Urn," which was designed by John M Gates, Director of Design for the Corning Glass Works and manufactured by Steuben Glass, Inc. in 1941. The actual urn is part of the Museum Collection and is displayed in the Pantry on the Second Floor of Anderson House. It is a clear glass, crystal urn with lid and two side handles on a square base. The face is engraved "Societas Cincinnatorum Institua", below which is the insignia of the Society and the dates 1783-1941. The urn was a gift to the Society from Steuben Glass, Inc.
