Library has another copy (L2007F89): heavily reworked with extensive ms. corrections & additions throughout; verso of half title containing 2 additional Articles; four water color signal flags to p. 1; between p. 10-11, additional bifolium bound so that Article XLIV of "Signals by day" can be replaced by a more detailed order & further 14 Articles can be added; between p. 14-15, 6 Articles added to "Signals by night"; last 3 p. including index removed & replaced by 3 leaves of ms. (1st leaf. "Fighting instructions and signals by day" extended by 7 more instructions (Articles 29-35) -- 2nd leaf. replacement for the 2 Articles of the "Signals by night." -- 3rd leaf. Article 36); this copy sent "To Captain [Alexander] Hood, Commander of His Majesty's ship L'Aimable by [his cousin] command Rear Admiral Samuel Hood.
