Note
Bust of Washington, facing forward, head slightly to the right, in uniform. On a second sheet is the Houdon mask, from a photograph, that was used to create the bust by Story. Engraver unknown.
These engravings appeared in Harper's Weekly, 1887, Volume 31 on pages 141 and 144. These copies from Harper's have been mounted on current sheets with a single line ink border around the magazine page.
On the bottom of each sheet, the the lower right, hand written in red ink it reads: "MOC from Virginia." In pencil in the upper right corner are the numbers "85." on the bust, and "86." on the mask
