Two small portraits on a single sheet. At the top, a young Voltaire, head and shoulders, to the right, wearing a crown of laural leaves. Rectangle. An artist signature appears above the left shoulder but is unreadable. Below is a second portrait of Voltaire as an older man, head and shoulders in profile to the left, wearing a cap and writing with a pen in his right hand. Circular with ribbons and a "C"-shape garland of laural leaves forming a border. Vignette. The name of the etcher appears below this portrait. It is unclear if Schoff did both portraits.
