This regiment was at the Battle of Quebec and was sent to Boston in 1774 "to prevent smuggling in America" and ended up at the Battle of Lexington and suffered many casualties at Bunker Hill; active throughout the revolutionary war defending Rhode Island and was with Cornwallis at the surrender
