Half-figure, to the right, wearing Calvin tabs and with his hands resting on the top of a cane. Oval in frame, 3/16 with loop and ribbon on the top as would be seen in a miniature. Below the frame it reads: "Drawn from the Life, and Engraved by T. Trotter." Beneath the title it reads: "Published as the Act directs, April 1st, 1785, from the drawing in the possession of the Rev.d D.r Simpson by J. Simco."
