An exact copy of this engraving appears on the front hard cover of the book, Ethan Allen, the Robin Hood of Vermont, by Henry Hall, published by D. Appleton and Company, New York, 1892. No credit for the engraving is provided in the book.
Ethan Allen was an eligible member of rhe Society of the Cincinnati from the state of New Hampshire.
