Bust, to left, in uniform, within a frame, 4/16, hung a wall. Beneath, a base on which is title and upon which lies a hat, baton and olive branch. Beneath the base to the right is a laurel wreath and a sword extending upward through the rim of the hat into the frame. A curtain hangs over and conceals the upper left corner of the frame.

This is a reproduction of the original etching without the reference to the sculpter nor the origin of the painting. That reference on the original reads: Rein.r Vinkeles, sculp. naar een Origineel Schildery, by den Wel Ed. Heer P. van Winter, Nic:z." This copy is therefore a variation of #56 in Hart. It is reproduced as #226 in Cresswell.
