Picture of the home of General Samuel Smith, called Montibello, near Baltimore. Two figures of women stand on the front lawn. Rectangle.
The number "12" is printed just outside the margin of the image in the upper right hand corner. .
Accompanying the print is information about Samuel Smith and his family line. At one time, this engraving was displayed in the Maryland Suite at Anderson House. On the frame it indicated that the print was once the property of Nicholas Sellers. Subsequently this print was removed from the frame and is properly preserved with the library's prints and engravings files in the vault.
Samual Smith was an original member of the Society of the Cincinnati from the state of Maryland.
